The mystical crane, fabled to live up to a millennia, is a legend on its own. The crane, with its poise and grace, is a symbol of happiness, good fortune and longevity. Its elegance and iconic mating dances have given it significant roles in many cultures, dating back to ancient times.
About the Artist
Based out of Delhi and Arizona, founders & sisters, Dhruti & Seema design and head this women-owned venture. Their embroidery atelier helps sustain and keep alive the intricate luneville needlework technique that has been in the artisans' family for generations. Trovelore handcrafted brooch pins are little pieces of art. Up to thirty techniques and materials can be used on a single small brooch pin to create organic textures with mesmerizing lifelike quality. Their made-to-order, small batch workshop follows ethical fair trade practices, offering artisans above the age of 18 fair wages, healthcare benefits, and a safe and happy working environment.
